Amila Hamamdžić

I possess expertise in trademark, patent, and design law, advising clients across diverse industries on the protection and strategic management of their intellectual property rights. My practice encompasses the preparation, drafting, and filing of patent, trademark, and design applications, ensuring a seamless registration process. Additionally, I oversee the management of IP portfolios, including the monitoring of deadlines, handling renewals, and the drafting and review of IP licensing and assignment agreements.

Beyond intellectual property protection, I advise clients on IP enforcement, representing them in opposition before the Intellectual Property Office and infringement proceedings before other institutions and other relevant authorities, in coordination with patent attorneys and external counsel. I also conduct IP due diligence in corporate transactions, supporting clients in identifying risks and opportunities in mergers, acquisitions, and investment deals.

In addition to my IP work, I advise on corporate and commercial legal matters, including company incorporation and corporate status changes for our clients.

I have obtained my law degree from the University of Sarajevo in 2015, and in addition to my formal education, passing the national patent attorney exam has further enabled me to provide specialized representation in intellectual property proceedings. I am fluent in English.
